Yes indeed, God asked Satan, where have you been and put Job up for grabs..(Job 1:7) Satan said, roaming the earth walking back and forth in it. Because Satan is always roaming and prowling for souls in the earth; God gives us hope in Him and His Word. (Luke 10:19) Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Is this authority loud and boisterous; it can be but its faith. It’s believing, it’s knowing, it is the power of knowledge of Jesus Christ that we can crush the head of the enemy. It’s the authority given us to use the power of Jesus Name against the power of the enemy. God’s Blood is thicker than Satan’s attacks.
Strengthen your Brother Luke 22:32 (One without the Other)
There is a parallel between tribulation and supporting another person; it is in companion to the blessing of forbearing one another in love. Christ told Peter that once he overcame, and became strong in wisdom and understanding, for him to go and help his brethren. Helping others (Gal. 6:2, Proverbs 19:17, Gal. 5:13, Hebrews 13:16, Romans 12:13) is in coalition to God’s plan. It’s not something that we should think about; it is a commandment and it’s crucial to your Christian Walk. And, it pleases God!
In Addition: helping others helps you; amazing how your giving of yourself freely to someone else is what heals you. This is what I meant by parallel. If you are dealing with something, find someone who may be going through something or the same thing and help them and watch God.
Matthew 25:36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
Serve to Serve:
Isaiah 58:7 Isn’t it to share your bread with the hungry, to bring the poor and homeless into your home, to clothe the naked when you see him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?
Berean Translation
2 Timothy 1:16 May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he has often refreshed me and was unashamed of my chains.
Hebrews 13:3 Remember those in prison as if you were bound with them, and those who are mistreated as if you were suffering with them.
James 1:27 Pure and undefiled religion before our God and Father is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
Acts 20:35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
Serving as an Intercessor: Isaiah 62:6
NLT O Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen on your walls; they will pray day and night, continually. Take no rest, all you who pray to the LORD.
Helping Others in prayer is an act of intercession – interceding as a Servant of God. Presenting an unselfish lifestyle by pleasing God in kingdom building one soul at a time. Knowing, Romans 8:26, Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Serving Others releases joy unspeakable…
