CONVERTING A SOUL

Why is there such a fight? Because of what’s at stake – because it leads to converting a soul.

Conversion in the Biblical sense means turning a sinner to God (Acts 15:3) or more specifically “when, by the influence of divine grace in their souls, their whole life is changed, old things pass away, and all things become new (Acts 26:18). (Excerpts from www.biblestudytools.com/dictionaryconversion). To convert also means to change, reform or restructure – it indicates moving in a different direction.

Every Believer has a testimony – his or her own story of being brought from darkness to Light. Every Believer also has the POWER to convert. Power is authority, ability, expertise and/or influence. Galatians 5:19-21

We have been given this authority because Jesus Christ believes in us and lives in us. We have expertise and influence because we have the testimony of our own conversion of what God has done and is presently doing in our lives.

It is important that we understand the actuality and the reality of the magnitude of the AUTHORITY we have in our hands to convert a Soul. What strength we have to believe and to have the faith to pray with a soul - that they may live and not die!Listen carefully: I have given you authority [that you now possess] to tread on serpents and scorpions, and [the ability to exercise authority] over all the power of the enemy (Satan); and nothing will [in any way] harm you. Nevertheless do not rejoice at this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven.” Luke 10:19 (Amp.)

How has your life been impacted by a relationship with Jesus Christ?

Can you use your testimony as a tool to witness to gain a soul for Jesus Christ?

There is a Plan for every Converted Soul to be used by God. To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. We must submit ourselves to God’s plan. “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10); “Therefore go and make disciples of all Nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:18-19). .

Hell a place regarded in various religions as a spiritual realm of evil and suffering, often traditionally depicted as a place of perpetual fire beneath the earth where the wicked are punished after death. If we believe the Words of Bible that say that salvation has changed us, then we must believe the Words of the Bible that Hell exists. There is a hell and people do go there – but we have the authority to save a soul from the pit of hell.
