Salvation

When we are born, we come into a world of sin. "Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. But I was born a sinner, yes, from the moment my mother conceived me. - Psalm 51:5

We come knowing how to do wrong - and we must be taught how to do right. Christ died on the cross because He knew we could never come to the place of righteousness on our own. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. - John 3:16

We were born to be saved and given eternal life with the Father - this kind of love is unexplainable.We can know this kind of love - of Christ dying on the cross to save us and give us eternal life - by accepting Jesus Christ as our PERSONAL SAVIOR, the only One who can save us from going to hell. Without SALVATION, we go to hell as punishment for the wrong we continued to do since we were born. We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.

All have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God

- Romans 3:23

Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved).

- Ephesians 2:3-5

He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy.

- Titus 3:5

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.

- Romans 6:23

God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

- Romans 5:8

For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

Father God in Heaven, I humbly come to you in Jesus’ Name to acknowledge and confess that I am a sinner and I'm asking for your forgiveness.

Your Word says in Romans 10:9-10: If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

I now know that you died on the cross for me and for the sins that I have done. Thank you for drawing me to your Son Jesus Christ and for saving my soul.
